But how do you draw such slim lines with the liquid eyeliner? Do you use a special brush? (around here, the applicators that come with liquid eyeliner are usually WAY too broad)

Te brushes can be cut to slim them. I've done it before... just usually when I've mistreated it and certain parts have frayed out...
